Prize winner!

A member of our team, Dr Nick Burr, has won a prize for his presentation at the recent British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) meeting in Liverpool. Entitled, “A Study of Post Colonoscopy Colorectal Cancer (PCCRC) in England” his talk examined the wide variation in colorectal cancer rates after a colonoscopy and explored possible explanations. Nick’s work is an excellent example of how routine healthcare data can give insight and help understand variations in care. His research fellowship is funded by Crohn’s and Colitis UK and uses CORECT-R data.
