PPG input into national NHS colonoscopy guide
We were very pleased to be asked to contribute to the new NHS England Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy and Sigmoidoscopy guides that have been produced to help patients who are experiencing long delays waiting for their procedures. Our input helped to ensure that the guides are easy to understand and written in a patient friendly way.
The guides have been prepared by national experts in the field with input from our PPG and reviewed by the British Society of Gastroenterology endoscopy committee, drawing on the latest understanding about what can help people who are waiting for their procedures to manage their symptoms.
