New team members!

Date

We have recently recruited two new team members.

Beth Levick has joined us from the University of Liverpool, where her doctoral work included the epidemiology of plague in wild gerbils. In addition to plenty of transferable skills, Beth has a keen interest in scientific public engagement. Beth's research will focus on bowel cancer recurrence and radiotherapy treatment data.

Simon Whalley has joined us as a Data Manager and brings extensive database and programming experience. Simon undertook an MA in Geographical Information Systems at Leeds and has a particular interest in the use of national census data. Simon will work closely with our Senior Data Manager, Andy Smith.
