ECCO 2018 European Cancer Summit

Professor Eva Morris will be speaking at the ECCO (European CanCer Organisation) Summit in Vienna next week. She is one of the panellists in the Big Data – who’s in charge? session. This promises to be a lively debate of whether Big Data research should be government-led or follow a more shared, distributed model. The Summit brings together members of the patient advocacy, cancer healthcare and stakeholder communities to inform cancer care delivery. It will produce resolutions to help European health systems deliver the best care to cancer patients. The University of Leeds will also be represented by Professor Peter Selby, who is speaking in the Integration of cancer care session, and members of our Public-Patient Group.
