BCI UK at ESSO 38

BCI UK Research Fellows will be presenting at the 38th Congress of the European Society of Surgical Oncology this week in Budapest. The overarching theme of the Congress is ‘better outcome with innovative surgery’ and the three day scientific programme will attract leading scientific and surgical experts. In the 'Niall O'Higgins Best Abstracts Symposium' Dr Becky Birch is giving a presentation on the management of rectal cancer in older patients in England. In the 'Poster in the Spotlight' session Dr Beth Levick is giving a presentation on returns to surgery and failure to rescue amongst colorectal cancer patients following surgery.
